Sleep and exercise both are important part of the fitness routine. But which one is more important? Most experts will say you should focus on both. However, when you get enough sleep; it can improve energy level, rebuild and recover muscles, skin cells, strengthens immune system and balance your hormones.

Whereas, Exercise can help you improve your sleep, burn calories, improve your mood, boost your metabolism and testosterone. Therefore, both are important for a healthy lifestyle.

For better results, you should get at least 7 - 8 hours of sleep per night. In addition, you should do regular workout up to 20 to 30 minutes a day. For example; you can walk, run or do strength training to maintain your fitness level.

However, it's important to eat healthy foods, exercise daily, and getting a good night's sleep is one of the most important things you can do for your body.

Exercise vs Sleep: what is the right choice?

In short: listen to your body. When you feel tired and when your body demands rest, then put all things aside and go to sleep. Exercise and sleep are equally important to your health and you should focus on both. Everybody has different lifestyle and they follow accordingly, but you should always do what is best for you. If you don't have time for morning workouts, try evening workouts.
